Actionstep is a pioneer in the development and sale of software-as-a-service (SaaS) products, specialising in the delivery of Legal Practice Management software. We are a fast growing, dynamic business with many thousands of legal customers globally. This is a fantastic chance to make an impact in a cloud-based technology business. We are expanding our sales team to drive our business growth and are currently recruiting for an Account Associate in Auckland, New Zealand.

If you are a driven go-getter with 2 years of proven sales experience, we are looking for you! You would join a global team based in Auckland and will focus on developing relationships with prospects while collaborating with our marketing and onboarding functions for our APAC market.


The purpose of this role is to drive new business sales through constructive and focused relationships with senior legal contacts, manage existing accounts to a high standard Work collaboratively with product, marketing and sales teams to deliver user growth targets and nurture clients into the Actionstep family.


  • Be an advocate for Actionstep’s Legal Practice Management platform and value proposition in our target markets
  • Work in partnership with our team of business developers and marketers for all sales leads and sales opportunities to achieve targets
  • Bring new ideas to the marketing, product management and wider sales team that can enhance Actionstep momentum in our target markets
  • Drive a high volume of sales by managing the complete sales process
  • Conduct inbound as well as outbound sales activities that build our pipeline
  • Deliver awesome demonstrations of the Actionstep’s solutions to prospective customers
  • Nurture and leverage business from new and established customer relationships, associations and network groups–
  • Strengthen new client relationships through regular engagemen
  • Participate in industry events, webinars and user groups to generate market interest
  • Further develop and grow your sales technique with the support and sponsorship of your sales leadership


  • 2 years in sales
  • Track record of selling to and managing customer onboarding
  • High level presentation skills
  • Ability to network and gain confidence of others quickly
  • Style and swagger for selling
  • Keen to learn and work in a team
