Job Description: Outbound Sales Assistant

Location: Downtown Toronto, Ontario
Reports to: Manager, Sales & Marketing

Actionstep is a pioneer in the development and sale of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products, and specializes in the delivery of Legal Practice Management Software, tailored to the needs of clients in New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada and the UK.

Based in our Toronto office, you will be responsible for generating interest in and awareness of our products through proactive, outbound cold calling of sales leads located in the US and Canada.

The purpose of this role is to contact cold leads and set product demonstration appointments for Sales Executives as a component of the sales process.

 

About You:

You will have 1+ years’ experience in selling SaaS products over the phone and a strong personal interest in technology.

Extensive experience in acquiring new customers through proactive prospecting is a mandatory requirement of the role and you will need to be resilient and be skilled in objection handling and turning a “No” into a “Yes”.

For this role, you will need to be a great communicator with a high degree of written literacy and accuracy and you enjoy learning in a self-directed environment.
