Why I love it

Law firms generate so many files and documents, Advanced Search is a quick way to find exactly what you need without having to look through all the folders & files in a matter.

You can search for:

• Documents
• Matters
• Contacts
• Knowledge Base pages
• Emails

Having the Advanced Search built into Actionstep system makes the entire process simple and saves time.

What it does

Advanced Search is a feature that allows you to search and find relevant information within Actionstep based on keywords. There is also an option to narrow your search down by categories for e.g. Documents, Matters, Contacts, Knowledge Base or Emails.

How it makes a difference to law firms

In addition to saving time, Advanced Search can help when you aren't entirely sure what you are looking for or when things aren't where they should be. We've all been there...you are trying to find an email or file, but it's not where it should be filed or you are not sure exactly how the document is named. With a few key words, you can pull up all the possible files and filter by file type.

It's also super helpful if you need to find or collate all documents or communications related to one client, contact or topic.
