Actionstep Honored as Bronze Stevie® Award Winner in 2026 American Business Awards®

Actionstep Wins Stevie Award

Actionstep was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Best Use of Technology in Customer Service category in The 24th Annual American Business Awards® today, recognizing the company’s AI assistant, Scout

The American Business Awards are the United States’ premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the US are eligible to submit nominations.

More than 3,700 nominations from individuals and organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Thought Leader of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. Actionstep was nominated in the Best Use of Technology in Customer Service category for its work as a legal accounting and practice management software provider.

Scout is Actionstep’s AI assistant, built with robust adaptability and exceptional learning capabilities. Launched in April 2025 following a year of meticulous development and testing, Scout was designed to provide 24/7 self-service support for Actionstep customers, reducing the burden on human support agents while delivering fast, accurate assistance. Since its launch, Scout has proven equally capable of resolving common support issues and guiding customers through complex legal accounting and practice management workflows with thorough, step-by-step instructions. Beyond customer support, Scout has also become a valuable internal tool, helping to onboard and train new employees by drawing on Actionstep’s entire knowledge base. The initiative is now expanding across the broader Actionstep group, demonstrating its scalable value as the company continues to grow.

“This award reflects our commitment to pairing technology with genuine customer empathy. Scout wasn’t built to replace the human touch. It was built to extend it, giving our customers faster answers and our team the space to focus on the moments that truly matter. Being recognized by the American Business Awards validates that approach, and motivates us to keep pushing the boundaries of what great customer service looks like.” — Daniella Bohill, SVP of Customer Success, Actionstep

More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

“Organizations across the United States continue to set a high standard for innovation and performance,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Miller. “The breadth and quality of nominations submitted to The 2026 American Business Awards reflect a dynamic and competitive business environment, where organizations are finding new ways to drive growth, deliver value, and make an impact. We congratulate all of this year’s Stevie Award winners and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at our June 9 awards ceremony in New York.”
