The workflow contains the key stages of a property transaction such as mortgage offer in, searches in, etc. so you can easily see the status of the matter.

The matter types also include data fields such as completion dates, title number, results of searches, mortgage information, etc. which means everything related to the matter is accessible to everyone 100% of the time. As well as compliance data fields such as the source of funds, risk assessment, other side bank details have been checked, etc. These data fields can also be used to populate your document templates such as mortgage reports, search reports, letters to third parties like lenders and the other side solicitors, etc. therefore saving you time and all documents in the same layout/style. It also allows work to be reallocated from solicitor/conveyancer to support staff, therefore, freeing up their time to communicate with clients, undertake business development, etc.

The Purchase matter type also includes an SDLT calculator based on the property price and whether the client is a first-time buyer or it’s their 2nd home. It shows you the standard, additional and total amounts meaning no more manually doing it on a calculator!

The add-on also includes lists of information such as upcoming completion dates, all key dates, etc. so you and all the staff can easily see the stage of the matter as well as chase any transactions that may be falling behind. Therefore ensuring your firm is always working in the best interest of your clients and progressing matters as efficiently as possible.

And like with all matter types in Actionstep, it can be tailored/amended further should you want to record more information and/or report on additional items.

The add-on is charged at a monthly rate of £15.00 which can be installed from this page. The add-on can also be charged at a one-off fee of £1,500.00 by contacting Advantage Consulting directly. The fee includes custom document template upload as well as an hour’s time allocation to train your staff on the workflows and/or make amendments.
