The partnership was driven by a shared goal of reducing administrative burden while making document creation faster and more accurate. 

Can you walk us through how your integration works alongside Actionstep in a firm’s daily workflow? 

Lawyers can dictate from wherever they work — whether they’re in the office, at court, or meeting with clients — using the SpeechLive mobile app, desktop application, or browser. Recordings are securely transcribed using AI speech recognition or professional transcription services and can then be incorporated into the firm’s document workflows within Actionstep, helping teams complete work more efficiently without disrupting existing processes.

In practice, this means a dictated note can become a transcript, be assigned to the right matter, and give the team a clear next step much more quickly. 

What trends are you seeing in how modern law firms think about operations and technology? 

Law firms are increasingly looking for cloud-based, integrated technology that reduces complexity rather than adding to it. They want solutions that connect seamlessly, support hybrid work, improve security, and automate repetitive tasks. Firms are also placing greater emphasis on user experience, recognizing that technology adoption is just as important as technology capability.
